Joseph Cohn is an Undergraduate Music Education student at Sam Houston State University, located in Huntsville, Texas. He has studied under Dr. John Lane, Dr. Brian Graiser, and Jon Seale(College Station High School) as well many other staff members at SHSU to hone his art as a percussionist. He has been a member of numerous performing ensembles at Sam Houston such as the Bearkat Marching Band, Symphony Orchestra, Wind ensemble and Percussion Group. He has also performed with various ensembles at PASIC (Percussion Arts Society International Convention) and ABA (American Bandmasters Association). This Debussy piano prelude was transcribed by Joseph for vibraphone and premiered at his recital at Sam Houston on April 14, 2018.
