Meghan Tan is a 14 year old piano student who began playing the piano at age six with Mr. Ronald Kmiec, later with Mrs. Dorothy Shi. Since February 2016, she has been with Mrs. Natalia Harlap of the New England Conservatory Preparatory School.
Over the course of her musical experience, Meghan has won several awards both for concerto and solo programs - ones from the Metrowest and Quincy Symphony Orchestra competitions as well as those from the Chopin International Competition for young artists in Connecticut, Massachusetts Bay State, and Steinway piano competitions. Most recently, she competed in the final round of the New England Conservatory Preparatory School concerto competition.
Aside from piano, Meghan enjoys studying biology, specifically anatomy and physiology as well as neuroscience, and is on her school's science team.
