Ehren Collins, first violin
Ehren Collins is twelve years old and began studying violin at the age of three in the Baldwin Wallace University Suzuki Center. Ehren is very passionate about chamber music and has been a member of a string trio at Oberlin Conservatory for the past 4 years. Together, they have explored string trio repertoire by Schubert, Dohnanyi, Beethoven, and Kodaly. Ehren is a student of Yoko Moore (Cleveland Orchestra, Assistant Concertmaster Emeritus).
Joseph Dang, second violin
I have been playing violin for 3 years and I enjoy making music. Other than playing the violin and piano, I also like to read books. I started violin when I was in 4th grade and enjoyed learning how to play the violin and other interesting songs.
John Shin, cello
I like math , science and playing a cello. I want to be a astrophysicist when I grow up!!
Hope Ptacek, flute
Hope Ptacek is in the 7th grade at a small private co-ed school in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. Hope's family background is not in music and thus the surprising hidden talent she demonstrates in both flute playing and voice have been well received. She starting playing the flute in 5th grade and performed at school performances along with impromptu street performances while attending to her lemonade stand. Hope enjoys a variety of music genre and incorporates them into her practice. She loves to read, cook and all things otters.
