Troy Wei, age 14, is a 9th grade student at Canyon Crest High School in San Diego, CA. Troy started playing piano at the age of six. Troy started with Marlene Scherk and is currently a student of Ronel Wishnuff. He placed 3rd in the age group of Best Chopin Performance and The Music of Eastern Europe in 2018, Best Grieg, Artist of the Year and 2nd in the age group of The Music of 18th century and Best of Beethoven. Troy is participating in school band and robotics at his school. Troy’s other interests include tennis, guitar, and skiing.
