Ryan Andrew Chi
Ryan A. Chi is a 16-year-old homeschooled junior. He has been playing violin for the last 7 years and is currently studying under the guidance of Ms. Debra Fong. Ryan has won first prize in numerous competitions, including the CAPMT Honors Competition, the Golden Era of Romantic Music International Competition, the Grand Prize Virtuoso International Competition, the Silicon Valley Second School Competition, and the Great Composers Series Competition. He has also been invited to perform at Carnegie Weill Hall twice as part of the American Fine Arts Festival, at the Royal Albert Hall Elgar Room, and at the Junior Bach Festival for piano, violin, cello, and organ. In his spare time, he enjoys baking and eating pastries, being in 4-H, solving puzzles, and composing music.
