Nathaniel Yue, 10 has been studying cello with Vardan Gasparyan since 2013. Under the guidance of Mr. Gasparyan he has already had the honor of performing at Carnegie Hall, Musikverein in Vienna, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and Disney Concert Hall. In the summer of 2017, he attended Meadowmount to study with Jonathan Koh. Nathaniel attended Montecito International Music Festival in 2016 and 2017 as a merit scholarship recipient, where he has studied with Robert deMaine and Ko Iwasaki. Additionally, Nathaniel studies piano with Nobuyo Nishizaka. He also enjoys being an ensemble member at the Colburn Ed and Mari Edelman Chamber Music Institute and Junior Chamber Musicians. This year he was invited to join the Huntington Middle School Chamber Orchestra. When he is not playing music, he enjoys competing in the First Lego League, skiing, doing outdoor activities and playing video games with family and friends.
