Natalie Zhang
A native of Boston, 13-year-old Natalie Zhang started her piano studies at the early age of 4. She has won many top awards in regional and international competitions, including First Prizes of Seattle International Piano Competition, Hartford Chopin International Competition, Steinway Competition and American Protege International Piano Competition. Natalie has performed frequently at Carnegie Hall as a winner of New York International Artists Competition, American Fine Arts Festival, AADGT Passion of Music Festival and Bradshaw Buono Competition. She was six-time First Prize winner of the Massachusetts Bay State competition and winner of the MTNA junior piano competition of state. Since her solo debut at Carnegie Hall at age 6, she has performed at major venues such as Boston Symphony Hall, Boston Steinway Hall, Seattle Symphony Hall, New York Merkin Concert Hall and Hawaii Emanali Theater. At age 12, She made her orchestra debut with Virtuosi Brunensis Orchestra in Italy. Natalie attended MusicFest Perugia Festival and Aloha International Piano Academy, performing in masterclasses of Jerome Lowenthal,j Julian Martin, Jon Nakamatsu, Pascal Nemirovski, John Owings and Ilana Vered. She is currently under the tutelage of Professor Michael Lewin.
