Lucas Liang, 14 years old from Olathe, KS, started piano studies with Yangyi Xie and currently is under the tutelage of Ying-Yu Emily Yeh. Lucas received first place from Kansas State Music Teachers Association Honors Competition in 2013 and Honorable Mention in 2016 and 2017. He was awarded Superior Rating Trophies from Mid-America Music Association Festival in 2016 and 2017. Besides piano, Lucas also participates in choir and plays soccer.
