Hannah Baker


Hannah Baker, age 16, began playing the piano when she was four years old. She studies with Dr. Irene Peery-Fox. In 2019 Hannah won first place the Encore Keyboard Competition. In 2018 Hannah won 1st place in the Great Composers Competition-Best Ravel Performance. In 2018 Hannah also won the Utah Symphony Youth Guild Competition and 2nd Place in the Utah Music Teachers Association Concerto Competition. In 2015 Hannah won “Salute to Youth” thereby winning an opportunity to solo with The Utah Symphony. Hannah has also soloed with the Utah Valley Millennial Choirs and Orchestra, the Lyceum Philharmonic and with the Utah Philharmonic. Hannah has performed with her mother Jenny Oaks Baker and her siblings "Family Four" at Abravanel Hall in SLC, Stevens Performing Arts Center in Idaho, three times on the Hour of Power TV Show broadcast worldwide from California, for Ambassador's Wives at the Congressional Club in Washington DC, for the Music Educator’s Rally at the Utah State Capital, for the Washington DC Temple Festival of Lights, for the World Congress of Families IX, at First Night On Temple Square, and with the Tabernacle Choir & Orchestra at Temple Square. They have also performed the National Anthem for the Days of Forty-Seven Rodeo and twice for Utah Jazz Basketball Games at the Vivint Smart Home Arena.  Hannah is also featured on the CDs "My Home Can Be A Holy Place" and “The Spirit of God”, and on many music videos including a Mormon Channel Music Video of "Love Is Spoken Here". This last summer Hannah performed throughout Austria, England, Switzerland, Japan, and Taiwan with her family. Hannah enjoys  performing with her family, reading, singing and playing tennis.
