Elaine Wu is a 13 year old who lives in Morgantown, West Virginia, United States. She has been playing the piano for over seven years and has also been playing the viola for over five years. She has participated in many technic tests, music theory tests, and recitals under the West Virginia Music Teachers Association and has also partaken in the Morgantown Young Pianists Competition twice. She has also received third prize in her age group for the Great Composers Competition's second edition of the Best Bach Performance. Besides playing the piano and viola, she enjoys science, figure skating, and musical theater.
