Besides playing piano for the past 13 years, I've also studied cello for 6 years and recently played as a soloist with my school's symphony orchestra. Academically, I enjoy learning about biology, chemistry, and physics, and am a member of my school's science bowl team, which placed 1st in the statewide competition. In my free time, I volunteer my time to play music in retirement homes or help tutor music students at public elementary schools. I also enjoy playing chess and tennis.
