Caleb Jeremiah Ramirez

Hello classical music audience, my name is Caleb Jeremiah Ramirez. My humble beginnings started on the sunny, west coast beach of El Segundo, California and now, I’ve taken root in the peach state of Georgia. My musical story began at infancy. I was told my grandmother sang to me as an infant every morning as she took me out on the front porch to breathe in the fresh morning air. Little did I know her sweet, soft lullabies were planting melodious seeds into my future. As a child, the passion for music with simple instruments and singing childhood songs was the beginning root of what was yet to come. In fact, music is so close to me that I cannot consider leaving it out of my college application process, future endeavors, and recreational activities. I have developed my gift of music through private lessons. Thus far, I've studied piano for 12 years as well as choral music and performance for 9 years. My piano accolades and performances include placing 1st (2016) and 3rd (2017) at the Assemblies of God Fine Arts Festival, receiving a Superior rating at the Federation Piano Festival, attending the Surge 150 Southern Baptist Convention Summer Music Camps and Talent Shows, performing with the Starr’s Mill High School Orchestra, Fayetteville, GA, and accompanying classical music soloists. During my spare time, I volunteer my piano playing skills at a nearby Adult Day Care community facility. Chorally, I've performed at venues such as EPCOT (Disney World, FL), Carnegie Hall, NY, the Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA) AllState Men’s Chorus, University of Georgia (Athens), and the GMEA District VI Honor’s Chorus. Playing the piano and singing choral music is the expression of emotions of the human heart. My aspiration is to study piano performance and pedagogy with minor studies in choral performance. Pastor Adrian Rogers, the well-known Southern Baptist Convention leader of “Love Worth Finding” Ministries quoted, “If music has prompted you to worship GOD, it has fulfilled its purpose.” Someday, I look forward to minister our Heavenly Father's message of love and joy through my calling of music performance.
