Courtney is 13 years old. Starting at the age of four and half, Courtney has been studying piano with teacher Zena Ilyashov. Courtney has won multiple awards in Missouri Music Teachers Association’s State Piano Completion. She was a winner in 2015. She won 2nd place in 2012, 2018 and 2019. She received 3rd place in 2013 and 2017. In January 2018, she won first prize in the U.S. New Star Piano Competition. In Feb 2018, Courtney won first prize in the Best Mendelssohn Performance Global Online Great Composers Competition. Courtney also won second prize in Best Chopin Performance of the US New Star Piano Competition by Composer in March, 2018. Courtney was awarded first prize in Best Grieg Performance of the Great Composers Competition in June, 2018. Also, she was second prize of Artist of the Year at Great Composers Competition Season, 2017 / 2018. In Jan 2019, Courtney was the second prize winner of the Best Mozart Performance of the Great Composers International Music Competition. In March and June 2019, Courtney won first prize in the Best Chopin Performance and Best Grieg Performance of the Great Composers Competition. Courtney won second prize in Division I of 2019 Young Artist Competition.
Courtney enjoys reading, baking and tennis in her spare time. Courtney loves animals, and her favorite animal is the horse.
