Patrick Elisha


Patrick Elisha began his musical studies at the age of six on piano with Washburn University Professors Xiao-Li Ding and James Rivers. As a student of Stanislav Ioudenitch at the International Center for Music, Park University, Patrick was a recipient of the Departmental and Trustee scholarships. He was awarded the Premier Young Artist award at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where he completed his Bachelor of Music, as a Senior Founders Scholar, and student of Menahem Pressler. Patrick received his Master of Music with André Watts at the Jacobs School of Music, where he held an Assistant Instructor Scholarship and Appointment. Patrick Elisha is pursuing an Artist Diploma at the Boston University School of Music, as a student of Pavel Nersessian.

Patrick is a prize winner and recipient of numerous awards, including the Mondavi Competition, Indianapolis Matinee Musical Competition, Kansas City Music Club and Sigma Alpha Iota scholarships, Topeka Symphony Youth Talent Auditions, Kansas City Symphony Young Artists Competition, Music Teachers National Association Piano Competition, and nominee for the 2017 American Pianists Awards.

Patrick has performed and participated in various national and international summer festivals and masterclasses including the Boston University Tanglewood Institute, the Boris Berman Piano Academy at Villa Medici Giulini in Italy, John Perry’s master class during the American Liszt Society’s National Festival, and in the master classes of Malcolm Bilson, Dang Thai Son, Martha Argerich, William Grant Naboré, and Asaf Zohar. He has performed at the California Mondavi Center’s Jackson Hall, Dan Harris and Dave – Gunda Hiebert Recital Series in Kansas City and Lawrence Kansas, Indiana University, Park University International Center for Music, Georgia Southern University, Kansas City Music Club, Tanglewood on Parade, Lenox Massachusetts Ventfort Hall Mansion, White Concert Hall Sunflower Music Festival, and the University of Missouri Kansas City Heartland Chamber Music Institute. Patrick was just awarded First Prize in the Great Composers International Bach, Brahms, Chopin, Prokofiev, and Schubert Competitions. Most recently, as a Grand Prize Winner of the Concert Artists International Competition, Patrick performed at Carnegie Hall Weill Recital Hall.
