Elizabeth Scarnati
Elizabeth Scarnati has been playing the violin since the age of four and is the student of Dr. Louise Scott, Dr. Jacquelyn Schwandt, and Dr. Karin Hallberg. She is currently a violin performance major at Northern Arizona University. She has been a section member of the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra since she was a sophomore in high school. Elizabeth performed Mozart’s Violin Concerto in A Major in 2014 with the Northern Arizona University Academy Orchestra. She is also a member of the Artistry String Quartet, Northern Arizona University Symphony Orchestra and NAU Chamber Orchestra. Elizabeth has served as concertmaster, as well as principle second, for Northern Arizona University’s Symphony Orchestra. She has been to the Brevard Music Festival for the past two summers, and performed in the Brevard Sinfonia, the Brevard Music Center Orchestra, and the Brevard Festival Orchestra. Elizabeth has also served as the concertmaster of Northern Arizona University's Academy Orchestra, NAU's Curry Summer Music Camp Orchestra, Northland Preparatory Academy's Chamber Strings, and she was the leader and organizer of the Common Time String Quartet. She was named Student Musician of the Month in October 2011 by the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra, was a member of the Arizona All-State Orchestra for three years, and was a member of the Arizona State Regional Orchestra for four years.
