Cassandra is 16 years old and attends an International Baccalaureate high school. She began her piano studies at the age of six and violin studies at the age of 12. Over the years, she has participated and won several awards at various festivals and competitions such as the Kiwanis Festival of Greater Toronto, CCC Music Festival, Musicians Dream Aid Young Musicians competition and most recently the Crescendo International Music Competition. She was a past member of the High Park Choirs of Toronto and has performed for their 25th celebration. She was a past member of the Cardinal Carter School for the Arts Orchestra, Fr. John Redmond Regional Arts Program Orchestra where she had the honour to perform for the Duke of Edinburgh. Cassandra is currently a performing member of the Mooredale Youth Orchestra and she regularly participates in her school Symphony Orchestra, Chamber String Orchestra and Pit Orchestra for the musical, the Sound of Music. She also represents her school in the prestigious Conference of Independent Schools Music Festival at Roy Thomson Hall, Toronto, Canada. Apart from music, Cassandra enjoys skiing, swimming, skating, soccer and other sports.
