Laura began studying violin at age 4. She has participated in the Jackson Community String Ensemble, her church string ensemble, Michigan State University Concert Orchestra, the Kalamazoo Philharmonia, Spring Arbor University String Orchestra, and the Mason Symphony Orchestra. She is the Jackson Symphony Orchestra Community Music School 2016 Mary Spring Scholarship winner. Laura is currently a student of Dr. Ji Hyun Kim.
