Harrison Wynn


Harrison Wynn, an award-winning pianist, is currently a junior at Granger High School.

Harrison has won numerous awards including first place in the junior solo division and second place in the junior concerto division in the University of Utah’s SummerArts Competition in 2017 and third place in the junior solo division in 2016. In 2013, Harrison placed third in the elementary solo division in the University of Utah’s SummerArts Competition and was awarded second place in the junior division of the University of Utah’s International Piano Festival. Harrison has consistently received superior ratings in the National Federation of Music Clubs Junior Festival evaluations.

In 2014, Harrison was selected to perform at the Utah Music Teachers State Convention. In 2015, he was selected to play at the National Federation of Music Clubs Honors Recital on Temple Square. In that same year, Harrison played the second movement of the MacDowell Concerto in D minor with the Salt Lake Symphony under the direction of Jong-hun Bae and will perform the third movement of the Tschaikowsky Concerto No. 1 in B flat minor with the Salt Lake Symphony in January of 2018.

Chosen as a Mundi Ambassador, Harrison performs at various civic and community events. He accompanies all of the choirs at Granger High School, including the Madrigals and Concert Choir. Harrison currently studies with Dr. Susan Duehlmeier.
