Alisha Kamath, violin
Alisha and Joey have been playing together in orchestra for over nine years. The two began their music careers together in their Elementary School Orchestra in First Grade. Together they have been invited to play in Philadelphia, at the North Carolina Governor's Mansion, and most recently, the Chicago Symphony Hall. Joey and Alisha have been playing chamber music separately for a couple of years, but they started playing chamber music for NCCMI together in September of 2017. The two of them perform in a trio, however have recently started studying duet music together. In their spare time, the two are involved in other activities. Alisha runs varsity cross country and track and field at her high school, and Joey enjoys playing a variety of percussion instruments outside of school.
