Elizabeth Low is a 17 year old pianist born in Singapore. In the summer of 2017, Elizabeth was granted an early admission to study her bachelorette degree in piano performance in the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music (YSTCM) in Singapore, under the musical guidance of Professor Thomas Hecht. Throughout her musical education, Elizabeth has participated in several piano competitions, and performed in many concerts such as in Singapore and Switzerland. In 2015, Elizabeth was one of the grand finalists of the National Piano and Violin Competition, and in 2016, she was one of the top 6 in the Steinway Youth Piano competition 2016. Elizabeth has also been invited to perform in numerous concerts overseas and in Singapore, and participated in many masterclasses with well-known pianists such as Melvyn Tan, Aaron Shorr, and Stephen Kovacevich. Not only does Elizabeth enjoy playing the piano, she also has a passion for the violin and music composition, even receiving an award from the School Of The Arts for best in music composition in 2016.
