Claire Tan began her piano studies at the age of seven. She later studied classical piano under Ms. Valentina Bransburg while growing up in Northern Virginia and performed in competitions organized by Northern Virginia MTA, Lions Club, and Loudoun Symphony. She has been an accompanist in schools and community organizations and has also been a part time piano instructor. Claire is currently pursuing her undergraduate piano performance degree at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia as part of the Class of 2019 where she studies with Dr. Lori Piitz.
