Camelia Chen is from Medan, Indonesia where she is in the 7th grade at Kingston School. She began her piano studies at the age of 6. She has won numerous prizes including first prizes at the 2014, 2016, and 2017 Indonesia Piano Competition. 2nd prize at the 2017 Malaysian Youth Music Festival. 3rd prize at the 2017 Jakarta Conservatory of Music - Boston Piano National Piano Competition, among others.
She currently studies piano under the guidance of Dr. Stephanie Neeman and also enrolled as a piano student at the Sumatra Conservatoire with Ms. Ing Ing Chang. Outside of music, Camelia enjoys drawing, cooking and maths.
