Alicja Miruk-Mirska
Alicja Miruk-Mirska is Polish violinist, student of prof. Beata Warykiewicz-Siwy at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. She worked under supervision of many outstanding violinists: Ivry Gitlis, Jakub Jakowicz, Ricardo Odriozola, Wiesław Kwaśny, Krzysztof Lasoń, Roland Baldini.
She also attended International Music Interpretation Course in Puck, Summer Music Academy in Wroclaw, Young Music Academy in Katowice. In 2016 she performed with Pawel Tomaszewski Jazz Orchestra at Xth Silesian Jazz Festival. In 2015 she took part in “Panufnik Project”- Silesian Young Orchestra and in 2014 she played with Gliwice Chamber Orchestra. In 2017 she got the first prize at International Filadelfia Competition in Soloist category and also the first prize with special prize Paolo Serrao in Chamber Music category. In 2016 she got the first prize at International Music Competition “Antonio Salieri” in Legnago. Since 2015 Alicja has cooperate with Ichin Nyamaa- Mongolian pianist. Their collaboration as PolMon Duo resulted in prizes at International Chamber Music Competition in Jawor, Intercollegiate Duo Competition in Katowice and International Music Copetition “Rising Stars- Grand Prix Berlin”.
