Zak Mustille (14) is a scholarship student at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College Division, where he studies with Machiko Kobialka. He earned the national gold medal in 2014 from the Royal Conservatory's Music Development Program and highest honors in piano performance in subsequent years. So far in 2017, Zak has been awarded 3rd place in the San Francisco CAPMT Contemporary Competition, 3rd place (tied) in the Etude Club of Berkeley Young Artist Competition, and Contemporary Honorable Mention in the East Bay Music Festival Competition. Zak has also had the honor of playing in master classes with Peter Mack, Dennis Alexander, and Craig Richey.
