Audrey Park

I started my music life by playing the piano at the age of four. As my passion and interest in music grew, I aspired to become a violinist when I turned six. I have been consistently featured as a soloist and was a concertmaster of the Santa Clarita Honors Orchestra. Also I have been a member of California All-State Orchestra many times and was recently selected to join Junior Chamber Music’s 2018 Honors tour to Prague, Vienna and Budapest. This summer, as a concertmaster for the Los Angeles Youth Orchestra, I had the honor of performing in Cremona, Montecatini and in Rome during the group’s Italy Summer Tour.

I enjoy performing as a soloist, competing in competitions, and participating in chamber groups and orchestras. I was the 2016 winner of Santa Clarita’s Student Concerto Competition and was featured as a soloist, performing Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto with the Santa Clarita Philharmonic. Other accomplishments I made in 2016 include being the LA Finalist of ASTA, placing second in Classics Alive, and becoming one of the Honor Groups of JCM. In 2017, I had the honor of performing in Carnegie Hall with the Honors Performance Series, working with conductor and composer, Kirt Mosier. I also won the 2017 San Fernando Valley Concerto Competition and performed Bruch's Violin Concerto with the San Fernando Valley Symphony Orchestra. Other competition results include placing second at VOCE State Finals and the Antelope Valley Concerto Competition. This summer, I attended the 2017 Montecito International Music Festival with scholarship and was invited to participate in Glenn Dicterow’s master class.

Having completedmy freshman year at West Ranch High School, I plan to further develop and gain experience by performing and competing nationally as well as internationally. I enjoy horseback riding and snowboarding when I find time. Currently I study with Ms. Linda Rose.
