Stephanie Wang


Stephanie Wang is fifteen years old and is currently a 10th grader at Panther Creek High School. She started to learn piano at age four and began taking lessons at age six. She also started composing when she was seven.

Stephanie has won many awards in both piano performance and composition,
including the first place award at the American Protégé International Competition of Romantic Music (performed in Carnegie Hall), the Silver Medal award at AADGT Passion of Music (performed in Carnegie Hall again), second place in the concerto competition of the Winston-Salem Symphony’s Peter Perret Youth Talent Search, first place for Raleigh Piano Teacher Association's Young Artist Audition two years in a row, first place in UNC School of the Arts piano Sonata competition, and first place award in the state level and Southern Division of the MTNA Composition Competition.

The most recent awards are second place in MTNA piano competition in North Carolina, first place in the state level MTNA Composition Competition and second place in the Southern Division.
