Luchi Jiang
Luchi Jiang started learning music on the piano when she was 5, and violin at age of 9. One of the Young Artists of Chamber Music OC, Miss Jiang has been a member of the Irvine Unified School Honors Orchestras, All-Southern Honors Orchestra, Pacific Symphony Santiago Strings and Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra for multiple seasons, appearing annually at Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall since 2011. She composed and performed her first piece of original music when she was 13. Following year, Miss Jiang made her concerto debut with the Pacific Symphony Orchestra. Recently, she toured China with Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra, and participated music festival in Germany. A recipient of the President’s Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence and a winner and scholarship recipient of various local musical events, Miss Jiang is also the concertmaster of her school orchestra, and believes that music will always be an important part of her life.
