Jessica Sudarta was born in Surabaya, Indonesia in 1998. Starting her musical journey at the age of 3, Jessica learned vocal and piano. She then began to study harp at the age of 13 with Rama Widi, and continued her further studies with Dan Yu. In these past years, she has contributed a lot of achievements as a young Indonesian leading harpist. Jessica achieved the highest score for grade 8 ABRSM exam in Indonesia. She has performed in a lot of concerts and especially charity events in these past years, one of them is UNICEF: Check Out for Children. She also have premiered some compositions for harp that Indonesian composers have composed. Jessica is now a freshman in Peabody Institute majoring in both harp performance and music education, studying Harp under Dr. Ruth K. Inglefield.
