Jeffray Tsai
Jeffray Tsai is currently a sophomore at Boston University, pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Music Composition and Theory and a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics. He does both piano and composition. For high school, Jeffray attended Walnut Hill School for the Arts, an arts high school that is affiliated with New England Conservatory. He attended prestigious summer programs such as Boston University Tanglewood Institute and Brevard Music Center. Jeffray has placed in several competitions, including Concert Artists International Virtuoso Competition II and performed in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall for the winners’ concert. He is currently studying with Gila Goldstein for piano and Rodney Lister for composition, and has studied with Chia-Chi Hsu and Yukiko Sekino for piano, and with Whitman Brown and Martin Amlin for composition.
