Jean Ann started group music lessons at age 2 at Seimpi School of Music. At age 4, she commenced piano lessons under Mr. Radostin Kirchev. She likes to experiment with tunes that she hears from everywhere and would play them by-ear on the piano. In particular, she is often drawn to fast, lively tunes that convey happy emotions. Her achievements include Gold Medal at International Young Gifted Musicians Festival “Passion of Music” (USA) in 2015, First Prize at The Muse International Music Competition (Greece) in 2015, Second Prize at National Piano & Violin Competition (Singapore) in 2015, Absolute First Prize (with Special Prize – “Exceptional Young Musician”) at International Music Competition Grand Prize Virtuoso (France) in 2015, Platinum Award at 6th SMTA Singapore Performers’ Festival & Chamber Music Competition in 2016, and Distinction Award at The 25th Jubilee International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition for Children & Youth (Poland) in 2017.
