Lawrence Au began piano lessons with his mother when he was about seven years old. At age nine, he continued to study piano with Dr. Angela Chan at Lambda School of Music and Fine Arts. Within the three years of his piano study, Lawrence has participated in solo and ensemble performances in annual student recitals. In 2016, he won the first prize in the Lambda Music Competition with a score of 95.5% in the External – Junior Piano Category.
Besides playing the piano, Lawrence also likes Chinese caligraphy, drawing and playing with Lego.
