Born in San Diego, USA, Edwin Guhnyoung Lim is known as one of the top musicians of his age in the Camel Valley Middle School and Torrey Pines High School. Currently he is in 10th grade in Torrey Pines High School.
Edwin won Music Director's award at Carmel Valley Middle School graduation at 2015.
Edwin won 4th place in String Part of Helen B. Goodlin Competition at 2016.
Edwin won 2nd place in Cello Competition of Musical Arts Competition of Orange County at 2016.
Edwin won 4th place in String Competition of Music Teachers Association of California, Orange County Branch Concerto Competition at 2017.
