Karina Tsvetkova is 12 years old. She started playing the piano at the age of 6 in Emilia Kaneva’s class in the National School of Music “Lyubomir Pipkov” in Sofia, Bulgaria. She has won many awards from international and national competitions: National forum ""Orfeeva Darba"", 2015 - silver medal and a special prize - golden lyre for the best performance of Bulgarian composer; International competition ""New Pianists"", Russian Cultural Centre, Sofia, 2015 - second place; French Organization of Musical Expression “The Golden Keys Competition Piano Violin Cello Alto Guitar Flute Piano four hands” 2016, Plovdiv, Bulgaria - first prize: THE GOLDEN KEY; International festival contest for vocal instrumental music “The Sound of Time”, 2016, Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria - silver medal; International “Contest of small pianist” 2016, Vranje, Serbia - first prize; ; International competition “Craiova piano” 2017, Craiova, Romania - third place; National competition “Way to Fame” 2017, category “Instrumentalists” - second place.
During this school year (September 2016 – May 2017), Karina participated in many concerts: in two charity concerts, organized by the National Museum of Natural History; in a concert for the opening of a exhibition at the Earth and Man National Museum, Sofia; in a piano concert organized by The Polish Institute in Sofia in collaboration with the Chopin Community in Bulgaria; in a Christmas Charity concert organized by the charity organization “Donka Paprikova”.
