Daniel Luo is a piano student of Dr. Angela Chan and Dr. Wonny Song at Lambda School of Music and Fine Arts. Since 2010, Daniel participates in multiple regional, provincial and international competitions such as the Quebec Music Educators’ Association, the Montreal Classical Music Festival, the Quebec-Ontario Youth Music Festival, Concours de Musique La Capitale and the Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition in which he wins first and second prizes. He also performed at New York’s Carnegie Hall five times as a winner of the Crescendo International Music Competition and received a scholarship for their exchange program in 2015.
Besides classical music, Daniel studies jazz piano at Marianopolis College and, as a jazz pianist, he performed at the Montreal International Jazz Festival as a member of the Blues camp.
