Runa is an Alumni of the Brevard music center 2015 program, and the Tanglewood Music institute 2016 summer program. She performed a flute concerto with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra to support their strike in October. In 2016, she was named a Finalist in the Pittsburgh Philharmonic Young artists concerto competition and honorable mention winner of the National Young Arts in the flute/woodwinds division. She has been a member of the Pittsburgh youth symphony since 2014, and she will be attending McGill University next fall.
