Alex Johnson is a third-year music performance and history major originally from Wichita, Kansas. She is currently studying at The University of Iowa where she performs with the Symphony Band, Chamber Orchestra, and Bassoon Quartet. She has performed with the Sunflower Music Festival and Madeline Island Chamber Music Festival and the Pacific Region International Music Academy. She previously performed as a soloist with the Topeka Symphony in 2015. Her primary teachers include Benjamin Coelho, Dr. Stephanie Patterson, and Scott Oakes.
