Lau Min Hui started to learn piano at age 5, and began joining competition since the age of 6. She won the 2nd prize for age 6 & 7 categories respectively for Malaysia Youth Music Festival (MYOF) in 2013 & 2014, and achieved Excellence Award in Cheer Taiwan International Music Competition (2015).
In the year of 2016 her achievements are:
a) Golden Lyre Award 2016, The Music Educationist Board(T.M.E.B), Melaka, -Gold Award
b) MYOF, Malaysian Youth Music Festival 2016 – 3rd Prize
c) UCSI University International Festival & Competition in Preliminary Contest - Gold Award
d) Brahms International Piano Competition Asian Final, Hong Kong - Gold Prize
e) The 8th Lotus Style ”Asia Five-Nation International Campus Festival” Singapore and Malaysia Finals - Bronze Award
