Kamila Krzonkalla
Thirteen years old, from Ksiazenice, near Warsaw – Poland. When she was eight she started playing the violin.
She is a student of renowned violinist and teacher, Mr. Maciej Przestrzelski, Violin Professor at Complex of State Music Schools no 4 - Karol Szymanowski's name, Warsaw , Poland. This is a 6-year Comprehensive Secondary Music School providing secondary musical education and general academic education of a junior high school and high school level, leading to the Certficate of Secondary Education – musical studies with instrumental department.
She has performed in master classes for distinguished artists for Professor Marcin Baranowski.
Kamila is an avid chamber musician.
She participated in many music contests and won many awards.
Recently, Kamila won first prize in the 2nd edition of the International Competition for Young Performers, The Music of the 19th Century (Instrumental Category), the first prize in the 17th International Violin Competition ""Janko Muzukant"", the third prize at the All-Poland Forum of Young Instrumentalists Karol and Antoni Szafranek, winner of the competition for violinists and violists at the Jadwiga Kaliszewska festival in Poznań, third prize in the ""behind the curtains"" competition for students of Secondary Music Schools in Warsaw.
In addition to her solo performances, Kamila is currently holding played in the best children's orchestra in Poland Luslawice Talent Orchestra at the Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music. She played in orchestras at Zenon Brzewski International Music Courses in Łańcut.
Playing the violin is her passion.
