Daniel Cheng
Daniel K. Cheng, age 16, started playing piano since the age of 8, and has placed in a wide various state and international piano competitions since then. Studying piano with Florence Ko, Daniel was First Prize Winner of the International Music Competition “Salzburg” and “Vienna” Grand Prize Virtuoso in 2017; First Place Winner of the American Protégé International Music Talent Competition Spring 2017; First Prize Winner of the 2017 Golden Classical Music Awards; and Second Prize Winner of the 2017 Bradshaw & Buono International Piano Competition. In 2017, Daniel was invited to perform at Gläserner Saal, Musikverein (Vienna), and twice at the Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall (New York). From 2013-2015, Daniel was a member of the North Carolina Piano Performance Team (NCPPT), performing at over 20 retirement complexes, schools, and churches across NC, SC, MD, VA and DC in United States.
