Anna Chung


Anna, 15-year-old, started playing the clarinet at age seven and a half. She currently studies with Dr Deborah De Graaff. She is a music scholar at Ravenswood School for Girls and an active member of her school wind ensemble, symphony orchestra and choir. She enjoys contributing her musical gifts to the wider community through performing for the elderly in nursing care at various times of the year. She won various competitions in Sydney. She won 1st place for Clarinet (19/u) at Sydney Eisteddfod and 2nd place in Sydney Eisteddfod Final, Alf & Pearl Pollard Memorial Instrumental Awards for Performance Excellence in 2016. She also won 2nd place in Best Brahms Performance, Age Group III at Best Composers Competition in 2017, and was highly commended for Clarinet (19/u) and Brass & Woodwind concerto (any age) at Sydney Eisteddfod in 2017.
