From a young age, I have always loved playing and being surrounded by music. Before I began music lessons, I would sit at the piano and compose little songs and I was always singing. When I was ten years old, I learned about the viola and I was completely fascinated by it. I asked my mom if I could play in my school orchestra program and before long I was hooked. I've loved it since the day I started. I have received countless opportunities over the years that have shaped me into the musician I am today. I've had the pleasure to work with amazing teachers, to participate in different orchestras and chamber groups, and to attend inspiring summer festivals and workshops. I am now attending Utah State University and am studying Viola Performance with Bradley Ottesen. Besides my love for music, I enjoy hiking, riding horses, and traveling.
