Gabrielle Li is a sixteen-year old Junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. She currently studies under Mr. James Lee, a cellist with the National Symphony Orchestra. Recently, Gabrielle has been named as a 2017 National YoungArts winner and earned full scholarship to participate NSO SMI 2017 summer program. She has received the highest scholarship from the Washington Performing Arts Society and attended the 2016 Tanglewood Summer Music Program. In addition, Gabrielle has won numerous First Place awards, including 2016 VMTA State Concerto Competition, performed as soloist accompanied by the Shenandoah University Orchestra, 2016 Duquesne Young Artist National Competition, 2016 Asian American International Competition, 2016, 2015 NVMTA Concerto Competition, 2015 Lions of Virginia Bland Music Scholarship Competition, 2016, 2015 American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition, 2016, 2015 Landon Symphonette Competition, performed as soloist accompanied by the Apollo Orchestra. Gabrielle is the founder of Connect Music Chamber performing in the Northern Virginia communities.
