Francisco José Garcia Verdú

Francisco José García Verdú born in Elche (Alicante) Spain, is a twenty years old spanish pianist and composer.

Great Virtuoso, excellent musician, a strong artistic future. The young spanish pianist is one of the greatest promises of the last years, with more than thirty five prizes national and international, twenty seven of them are first prizes, Alexander Scriabin Piano Competition (Paris), Infanta Cristina (Madrid), Marisa Montiel (Linares-Jaen), Grand Virtuoso Prize (London), Society of Concerts (Alicante), Rupert Chapí (Villena), among others.

He began his training at four years and he entered the National private Conservatory Anmavi at five. He studied with the professor Tamara Haratyunyan, finishing the Professional Music Diploma at thirteen, an exceptional case due to his young age.

He received a scholarship from the Royal Academy of Music of London to study with the professor Patsy Toh and composition with Matteu Taylor, and Conservatory Liceo Barcelona with the professor Albert Attenelle and composition Israel Martinez from 2011 to 2013. He also receive financial support from CultuArts Generalitat Valenciana and CS Katarina Gurska.

He finished his Bachelor Degree in Piano from the CSM “Oscar Esplá”(Alicante). Currently he is studying 4th Composition at CSMA with Manuel Más Devesa and Master of Performance at the CS Katarina Gurska (Madrid) under the tutelage of Nino Kereselidze.

On the other hand, He performed as a piano soloist, chamber music and orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall of London (Elgar Room), Auditory Mozarteum Salzburg, Duke’s Hall of the Royal Academy of Music London, Great Theatre (Elche), ADDA (Alicante), Palace of Medinaceli (Soria), Palace of Cibeles (Madrid), Auditory of Liceo (Barcelona), Ateneo (Madrid), etc.

He participate in many masterclasses from the prestigious professors Dmitri Bashkirov, Elisso Virsaladze, Jacques Rouvier, Gregory Gruzman, Fernando Puchol, Andrea Bonata, Pascal Devoyon, Rolf Plagge, Lev Vinocour, Stanislav Pochekin, Sigfried Mauser, Matti Raekalio, Pavel Gililov, etc.

The PHACE The Artistic Cultural history of Trustees Elects, granted the honorary distinction “Saguell D’Elg”.

He has writing about twenty compositions one of them will be released by the Felanitx Conservatorie’s Orchestra in the Spring of 2017 in Mallorca (Spain).

Recently recorded a DVD of “Young Soloists” to TVE (Spanish Televisión).

The genius and the innate qualities of his music have been praised by great masters and the prestigious “Magazine” described him as a young special highlighting his personal maturity, musical, sensitivity and emotion it conveys.
