Eddie Dai, 14, is a ninth grade student at Olathe North High School in Olathe, Kansas and currently studies piano with Ms. Ying-Yu Emily Yeh. Eddie participates in several piano competitions and auditions and has received numerous awards. He has taken part in the National Piano Guild auditions and has been named a national winner. Eddie has also won prizes in the Mid-America Music Association Festival. He has performed in the Kansas City Music Teachers Association Fall Festival and has received Highest Honors for the past few years. Additionally, in the Kansas State Honors Competition, Eddie has won Honorable Mention multiple years. Apart from music, he excels in academics, enjoys reading, and participates in a myriad of extracurricular activities.
