Alyssa Katahara
Alyssa Katahara, harpist, hails from Great Falls, VA. Graduate with honors from Interlochen Arts Academy, she is now a sophomore pursuing a BM at the Colburn Conservatory studying with JoAnn Turovsky. She attended the Interlochen Arts Camp as an Emerson Scholar and the Boston University Tanglewood Institute. This past summer, she was a fellow at the National Repertory Orchestra Music Festival as principal harpist where she appeared as a soloist playing Mozart Flute and Harp Concerto. Additionally, she has soloed with the National Philharmonic, Interlochen Arts Camp, and Peabody Preparatory Young Artists Orchestras.
