Melissa Terrall has performed as a soloist with the Oregon Sinfonietta and the Jewish Community Orchestra. In 2015, she was alternate winner in MTNA’s Young Artists competition. optional: Her scholarship awards include the Monday Musical Club scholarship and Gladys Strong scholarship (OMTA). With her piano duo parter Colleen Carney, she won the US International Duo Piano Competition in 2016. Coached by Dr. Jill Timmons, the duo has performed for Classic Pianos’ Classics & Croissants series. This summer, Melissa attended the International Keyboard Institute and Festival in New York City as a scholarship recipient. Melissa studies piano performance with Dr. Julia Lee at Portland State University.
