Jessica Yi is a 4th grade student at the Bath Elementary School in Richfield, OH. She has been studying piano with Mrs. Christina Choy for over 3 years. Her eagerness in learning new literature, excellent sight reading ability and hard work allowed her to excel in piano study. Jessica was a 1st place winner in her age group in the American Protégé International Music Talent Competition in Fall 2014, and performed in the Weill Recital Hall, Carnegie Hall, New York in May 2015. She also won the 3rd place in the AADGT (American Association for Development of the Gifted and Talented) - “Passion of Music 2016 International Competition”, and performed in the Steinway Recital Hall in New York. She received unanimous superior ratings in recent three years at the Ohio Federation of Music Clubs Festival (affiliated to National Federation of Music Clubs), and commendable ratings at The Ribbon Festival sponsored by The Ohio Music Teachers Association in 2014, 2015 and 2016. As a member of The Brahms Allegro Junior Music Club, Jessica enjoys sharing her music by performing for the Senior Residents at Rockynol. Being an outstanding student at school, Jessica serves as the class hostess and a student assistant, helping her teachers with classroom duties and other students with their academics.
