Ava Pakiam



Ava Pakiam is a 6 year old violinist in 1st grade at The Lowell School in Washington, DC. Ava has been studying at The Horman Violin Studio since the age of 4.

Ava was awarded 1st prize in the American Protege International Competition at age 5. As a result, she made her Carnegie Hall debut in May of 2016. Ava was also awarded first prize in the International Grand Virtuoso Competition. She was then selected to debut at The Royal Albert Hall in London last December.

Following her performance in London, Ava’s performance video was featured on Classic FM, where it was shared worldwide.
Most recently, Ava was awarded first prize in the Concert Artists International Competition. At the winners recital and debut at Strathmore Hall, Ava was awarded a special jury prize for her performance.

Ava also enjoys singing, acting, and dancing.
She currently performs on a French quarter size violin made in the shop of Jerome Thibouville-Lamy in the early 1900s acquired from Potter Violins.
