Rose Haselhorst

Rose Haselhorst, 17, is a violinist from St. Louis, Missouri. She is currently serving as Co-Concertmaster of the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra, and has previously played in the Webster University Community Music School orchestras. Rose also studies chamber music through the Community Music School's Preparatory Program. She is a student of Joo Kim, and formerly of Joseph Kaminsky.

Rose has won awards from numerous competitions including MTNA--2017 Winner of Missouri Senior Strings Division, Midwest Young Artists Discover Chamber Competition, Southeast Missouri University Orchestra ""Rising Star,"" Belleville Philharmonic “Stars of Tomorrow,” Great Composers Competition Series, and the Fabulous Fox Teen Talent Competition. In addition to playing the violin, Rose loves composing and arranging music, as well as swimming and hiking.
