Michael Guida
Born in the United States, Michael Guida studied at the University of Denver for his Bachelor and Master degrees, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He is currently completing his DMA degree at the University of Texas at Austin, where he was awarded a Teacher's Assistantship. Michael previously studied with Steven Mayer and currently studies with Anton Nel.
Michael has been awarded many scholarships and was chosen as the Newman Fellow at the University of Denver. He has performed numerous times including for the University Provost Concert and Showcase at DU. Michael has recently attended summer festivals including the International Keyboard Institute and Festival, where he performed in masterclasses for pianists such as Victor Rosenbaum, Jerome Rose, Alon Goldstein, and Jose Ramos Santana. Michael is an avid teacher and maintains his own private studio.
